Loving Hands Home Healthcare in Bethesda Maryland. The owner made fraudulent credit card charges on my mother's credit card . He charged 2 and 1/2 weeks for services never rendered. And also he never paid the home health aid for the time that she did come. He does not answer emails or his phone about this matter . This is a form of elder abuse, stealing from my mother.

Hello, Bellabo. Not sure if you are asking a question or making a statement.

In any event, I would (and I hope you already have) file a police report. You can also contact the credit card company and contest the charges. They will do an investigation as well.

If you have not already, I suggest you establish an online presence with the bank so that you can check the charges made on that and any other credit cards often. Don't wait until the statement comes, that's usually too late.

Have you talked to the HH aide and you know for a fact that she was never paid? Was she requesting that you pay her directly? I wouldn't recommend that you do that.

Good luck with the investigation. Don't worry about the terminology, just file the police report.

Bellabo, did you check with the company's the billing office? It could be a billing code error or a client mix-up, and if so, easy to correct.
