Has anyone sought help from any counseling for caregivers? I live in Fort Lauderdale. Can someone or anyone recommend a therapist? Just need someone to talk to.
I would call the Area Agency on Aging and ask what resources exist for therapy for caregivers.
Do you have a primary care physician? S/he may be a good source of referrals for mental health services as well.
Many municipalities currently have mental health professionals doing teletherapy right now. You might call your local "City Information Number" and ask if this resource exist where you live.
