My name was put on my Mom's mobile home. If she goes into a NH could they take the house even if I'm disabled and been living there for 6 yrs?

It was put on in June so that I would have a place to live when she passes away. Prior to that my sisters name has been on it for over 10 years or so. Mom is not on Medi-Cal. My sister told me that if mom had to go into a nursing home that they could not take the house because I am disabled and have been living here for 6 years. She said they might take it after I die but cannot since I am disabled. Has anyone ever heard of this before?

Yes, Medicaid will allow the disabled spouse or child to remain in the home.
