Once the couch is full of pee there is no going back it is time for it to go to the dump.
If it has detachable foam cushions you can try soaking them in a bashful of beach water and dry them in the sun. Cover each cushion with a large plastic trash bad and put the covers back on after similar treatment. Make or buy several sets of matching cushion covers so you can change them when ever they get wet and wipe the plastic bags with bleach water. If you have to buy a new couch get something with detachable covers. Cover the whole thing with plastic sheets and tape together then put the covers back on. If it is one long cushion just use a twin sized plastic mattress over they are quite inexpensive unless you want to go the Rolls Roice route. i have even seen thin ones in the $ store

I've got a moisture proof cover on my own bed, buying it was a condition of the warranty!
They make some pretty nifty waterproof whole couch covers to protect them from pets, not the most stylish look but better than a peed on couch. And it would be way past time for incontinence underwear, all the time.

Any one remember decades ago some people would buy plastic couch covers. Wonder if that would work?

Hmm, to tell you the truth, if the couch was full of pee it would be telling me that it was time for some professional caregiving help. I wouldn't be able to mentally cope with that.

Did you move a bed into the living room and have a moisture-proof cover put on the mattress. My mother has a moisture-proof cover, even though she has never had an accident on the bed. The cover was expensive, but it feels like an ordinary mattress cover. I like knowing it is there just in case.
