Find Care & Housing
As others have mentioned there are medications for OCD.
Can another task be given to replace the bed making?
Folding towels, sorting socks for example.
Or if bed making is the fixation maybe make other beds if that is possible.

When anyone says "I don't like you" a response of..
"I'm sorry you feel that way, I like you"
"I'm sorry you are having a bad morning, would a cup of coffee make you feel better?"
a simple "Good morning" will also do.
And just ignoring a comment like that is acceptable

As Geaton said, medication for the OCD.

I think I would respond to "I don't like you" with "Good morning to you" followed by a kiss on the forehead and a "But, I love you!"

If you are dealing with an ill senior, odds are they aren't fully cognizant of what they are saying or they feel so comfortable with you they can safely air their frustration by saying this. Unless the behavior follows the words, let it go.

Being a caregiver takes thick skin and an ability to find humor and opportunity for love amidst the chaos. Not an easy task and not everyone is cut out to be a caregiver, you have to decide if this is something you can really do, without harming your own well-being.

Your profile says you are caring for your grandmother. Is this the person with the compulsion? If so, there is medication to address this. Her PoA or guardian needs to discuss this problem with her doctor.

As for the other senior who says they don't like you, try ignoring the comment and changing the subject to something cheery or distracting them by asking if they can help you do a simple task.
