Yes, they do, but HOW they do it is written in the trust documents. For example, a woman in buffalo who had lived in a historically significant home for over 100 years, left instructions for it to be demolished after her death. She refused to have it turned into a museum.
Remember, her death does not necessarily end the Trust. You have to read the fine print.
