What type of help do you need? A one-time assist, a long-term solution, a part-time job? Budget help? Are you eating, because free food is easier to come by than rental assistance.
My boss once said: Eat beans if you have to, just keep your home!
Can you say more about your circumstances?
In dire immediate need, you may get emergency assistance from the Dept. Of Human Svs. (U.S.). However, I do not know if you have to be a client.

Are you working? Are you in Section 8 housing? If not, that might help with your financial situation.

I don't know of any agency that helps with rent, but you could ask your landlord - he/she/it might have other tenants in similar situations and could tell you if any agencies are involved with subsidizing them.

Another thought - your screen name suggests you're religious. Have you asked the pastor or minister of your church for assistance? Some religions do help out parishioners in need.
