I need a caregiver on an as needed basis to pick me up from surgeries since I have no family here in LA. Where would I find an agency that provides this type of service?

Most of the time you can use a Medical transport company. Or perhaps the hospital knows of and can arrange some type of transport company to assist you back home. Also, I hope a visiting nurse is available to check up on you!
