My wife has severe rheumatoid arthritis, dementia, and schizophrenia. I would like to get her into a hospital to find out if there is anything that can be done to help her. But I don’t know who to take her to get her admitted to a hospital.

Can't you go to her PCP?, or the ER? In my area, you can call the police when a loved is physically aggressive due dementia or schizophrenia, they will come to evaluate the situation then decide if the person should go to the hospital. Generally from there, they are transferred to a behavioral unity for evaluation and medication. They may stay there for 3 weeks to get the meds adjusted before releasing them home. Whether your wife is aggressive,I don't know, but just going to ER because she is having severe pain from RA should be enough to get things started. Have you talked with her dr. about this?
