Ask your insurance company, that is the only way to know.

Is your Dental insurance thru an employer or you are u selfpay? An employer may ask u to pay extra a month. Even so for selfpay. I would also think that she has to be living with you and you r claiming her on taxes. But as said, you need to contact your insurance company or employers HR.

Extremely unlikely. Nearly all insurers in America limit you to adding spouses and children only. Dental plans are usually inexpensive, you can always get her her own policy.

Make sure you know what your state's legal definition of "dependent" is. If you have been claiming her on your income taxes without a problem, then she most likely is but I would consult the state or an accountant. She has to be receiving the majority of financial support from you, and if she gets SS, then not sure -- so you may need do research for a definitive answer.

As far as I know, the only family members that can be added to an individuals policy are a spouse and/or children of the policyholder. However, why not simply ask your insurance company?

Very unlikely as already stated. You may be able to claim her as a dependent for taxes but in my experience you can only add spouses and children to your own health insurance. In some cases I have seen this when the parent/child pays extra for a commercial policy to cover the person who needs a dentist but then the person has to pay extra in their premium for dental services.
