Did you have an attorney represent you in the divorce? You need an attorney who does family law and divorces. Is there a university with a law school in your city? They usually have law clinics.

Another possible route is to contact the office of your local elected representative ( city council, borough leader). They usually have folks who can point you in the right direction.

I'm not sure what papers you signed, but you need to take them to a divorce attorney as soon as possible. You may lose rights if you delay. Find out what your rights and obligations are pursuant to the marriage. I would not delay. Time is of the essence.
