Patient had serious neck surgery, was transfered to a senior health rehab for 5 months, then was told she was going home, to her disappointment she was transferred to another facility senior care rehab to finish the rest of her rehab and awaiting for the approval of Medicaid. She was informed by a family member that there are attorneys handling this matter. However, the patient only knows what her family tells her. If she leaves this other facility, she would be totally responsible for payment for the surgery, hospital stay & rehab, before they moved her also to the first rehabilitation facility and the one she is currently in. Is that possible to do this to this senior?
