My mother is now in final stages of brain cancer. She is not coherent and barely audible. Unfortunately we do not have a POA. I am an only child and my name is listed on all her assets. We need to transfer money from her sold stocks to checking account to pay for caregivers. Is there a way to get this done?

Find Care & Housing
I'm not sure of a way, but i'm going to say no, because my mom 88 has dementia and I had to go to court and get Legal Guardianship and Appointment, and I still had a hard time with her banks. I know you have to have some kind of authority over her estate.
