My wife is 64 and I am 65. I would love to get to work however my wife needs constant care, so since neither of us can work and only receive social security. I would like to be able to get paid for her care as well as my 89 year old mother. What do I need to do?

You can get paid if your wife and mother pay you as their caregiver from their own funds. You would need to fill out an employment contract to have on hand in case later on either your wife or mother needs Medicaid. Said form would show where their money went for their care. A sample of such form https://www.agingcare.com/documents/personal_care_agreement_AgingCare.pdf

Also check with your State Medicaid office to see if either your wife or mother could qualify. Some States have "Cash and Counseling" programs that would be worth looking into. But please note, each State is different with different rules, regulations and programs.
