Most caregivers taking care of a parent are paid by the parent from their funds. Some states have limited Medicaid waivers that will pay a family member for 12 - 14 hours at minimum wage or a little more. Check with your Area Agency on Aging to see if there are local funds. VA also has Aid & Attendance if your father was a veteran your Mom might qualify.
