If he’s financially eligible for Medicaid and medically eligible for a caregiver through a Medicaid program then you could probably be his caregiver through the program just keep in mind, you will only be paid to work a few hours a week at minimum wage. If he’s not Medicaid eligible then he won’t be eligible for any state program. Best thing to do is contact your local health & human services office and get him an appointment with an eligibility worker.
