My gran who I live with and care for has been showing signs for a while just little ones but this past week she seems so withdrawn. She is disorientated, remembering things from years ago, gone off her drinks that she always loved, not really talking (that's a new one today) and then she has become obsessed with going to the toilet but just to mess with that taps. Her hands have started shaking as well and she needs to constantly grab things. The only thing different is she has been put on risperidone to help her sleep which after 3 weeks seemed to kick in today as she slept all through the night, can this bring on these symptoms?
It's so hard at the moment being in the middle of a pandemic to get proper help or getting her assessed and its heartbreaking to see the life slowly draining from her. Only way I can describe it is it's like shes on another planet.

Look up side affects for rispedidone. maybe it's too much of a dosage. Ask doctor about that too.
