Try American foundation for the blind there is a whole host of software out there for you. I have been with people who have used JAWS but that was many years ago I am sure there are now better products on the market good luck PS some are free software

I work in government, and we have sight-impaired people on staff in nearly every department. They all use computers for their jobs.

There are a lot of blind people who develop software, administer systems, run websites, and do everything a sighted person can do with a computer. It's about learning to use the computer in a different way than with your eyes.

There is a lot of software out there to read the screen and to convert your speech into text. You may be able to get it at a low or no cost.

As Jude said in the post above, get connected with the American Foundation for the Blind. A F B website.

On their website, search for Community Outreach to connect with someone in your state. It does make a lot of this easier for a person to come by and get you set up.

When you are setup, come back and let us know!
