Can a UTI with no symptoms in a man cause confusion? I used to be here but lost my password but I'm back. I was here for my mom. Now it's my husband.

Yes, and get him to a doctor now. A UTI is more serious in men than women. The only symptom my husband had was chills. They can get violent.

tevincolorado, you can buy UTI test strips at the drug store. A company called AZO makes such test strips, plus they have other products related to urinary tract issues. A test strip would be a good start, and if it shows positive, next step is to go to your husband's primary doctor or to Urgent Care for meds.

I think a UTI in an older person, male or female, can cause confusion. My mom's only symptom was confusion. Have him checked. Much luck
