My friend's Father and Mother both had a POA. She took thousands of dollars from their incomes and spent it on her own personal things NON related to helping them in any sort. She used their credit cards and thousands of dollars of their money to buy things for herself? Since she was their POA is this exceptable by ANY means?

Absolutely not acceptable! A fudicary can pay themselves for their services [within reason] - your friend should call protective services or if they can afford it - their attorney to bring charges. And could even call their Ombudsman's office to make sure of all the right steps to get this person (family member or not) replaced as POA.

As POA for my mother-in-law I can take out money for whatever reason I want to. As far as I know there is no reason the bank would question me.
