Can a divorced wife of a veteran receive benefits?

No you are not entitled to his benefits. I think there is something concerning his pension if he served 20 yrs or more. You can't even get help thru his SS if not married at least 10 yrs or 40 qtrs.

VA will only give monetary assistance. To a widower at least. Not sure about divorced spouses. After my dad passed, a lot of people told me to check with VA about assistance because my mom was elderly and with dementia. VA said the only thing they can provide is monetary assistance. They were still married though

Is he still alive?
Have you remarried?
Does he qualify for benefits?
It may depend on how long he served and where and when.
Contact your local Veterans Assistance Commission. Give them all the information you have and they can help determine if you qualify.
But if he has died I am 99.999% sure you will not qualify for any benefits.
If you have remarried I am also 99.99% sure you will not qualify.
And lastly if he does not qualify I am 99.99% sure you will not qualify.
But I am not an expert and it is always worth checking out. I will never leave a stone unturned when it comes to looking for help if it is at all possible.

There is the possibility of moving to Assisted Living.
There are also caregivers that could come in and help you if and when you need them. This could be just 1 day a week or more if you need it. There is also the option of getting a roommate or housemate that is able to help out (although this can be a slippery slope with the tales I read about trying to get someone to move out if they have overstayed their welcome)
