Find Care & Housing
Medicaid maybe able to help but the person being cared for must fit the asset/income requirement. The Caregiver may have to be trained and hired by an agency. Only so many hours are guarenteed. And the pay is not great. Call your County Social Services dept for info.

This is something you will need to research for your own state. Much depends upon qualifying for help and whether or not the elder is on a governmentally funded program or whether or not the state funds caregivers. We cannot guess at the circumstances here as individuals, not of the qualifications or programs available.

You might consider approaching by phone your local council or agency on aging to ask for a place to start. Wishing you good luck.
