He is in wheelchair, and does not stand at all. The briefs are really hard for me to put on him and take off. I have used Depends with additional pad and the bed is still wet. Bed pad gets all wrinkled up as he scoots around without use of his legs. No outside help.

2 Depends on mom works well for us, could get a little costly though. Walmart or SAMs club has the best prices.

I use Depends. As for the bed pads, I use washable cotton on one side and water/urine proof on the other side pads. I have four - two for the bed and two for the chair she sits in. That way you always have one to switch out when they get soiled. I was thinking when my aunt gets to the point when I have to take the Depends off while she is in bed, I will cut the sides for easy removal.

Other users know more than I do from a practical point of view. have you tried putting a draw sheet on the bed. Fold a top sheet lengthwise and lay it across the bed over the waterproof pad and tuck it in very firmly. It will still get wet as he wrigles around but it may make things easier.
I realize you are struggling with this on your own. how heavy is he? and how tall and strong are you? Is he in a hospital bed? His Dr can prescribe one although there wil be some cost. There is a pully that can go on the bed and if he is strong enough he may be able to pull his butt up off the bed which will help you with pull ups. The side closure type might be easier if you have to roll him side to side. Is he appropriate for hospice? Even if you don't think so let them make that determination. Also if he is a veteran there should be help from them.
please come back with any other questions. it would be helpful if you can tell us more about his condition.

Walmart has the best prices and free shipping. These are the only thing I've ever purchased at Walmart. lol One of the aids at rehab told us about them.

For overnight, the very best is Molicare Super Plus Adult Diapers. They hold 1500 cc of liquid.
