If u mean getting out of the house...if you have round knobs on ur doors there are child proof covers that go over them. They go round and round so the person can't go out. Others can figure it out and open the door. Worked with my Mom.

Contact your local police department, many are now partnered with services that provide trackers for people with dementia and others who are at risk, even if they don't it can be helpful to register with them so the have a file on hand. Beyond that the best advice is to take steps to prevent wandering in the first place.... hide car keys, alarm doors, provide supervision and activities to keep them busy.
