Speak with the VA itself; ask to speak to social worker or representative when you call. I am not certain how much of the fine detail of our lives and circumstances are registered and worked on. But if anyone can help with information it would be a local VA Social Worker.

I hope other will have better outreach for you, but I haven't a clue.

You give us few details; that makes it very difficult for caregivers to respond with ideas, but I would ALSO run this past your local APS for options (Adult Protective Services). I wish you the best of luck.

What kind of benefits? Ones specifically for veterans?

Are you saying the veteran is now destitute due to the financial abuse?

Is the legal guardian a family member, or a court-assigned third party one?

More information for context would be helpful.
