Do you really believe the people we are taking care of?

My mom is sososososos ignorant to me. I can't stand it anymore it is so hard for me to believe when people tell me that's how loved ones act to their caregivers that are family. That is crazy and 100 percent frustrating to me. Any advice?

She can only do that if you let her. When she is nasty, tell her you will be back when she is feeling better, then leave. Get your coat and go. There are some good articles here on coping with manipulative behavior.
