How can I get assistance in home repair?

My Mom has (glaucoma). Her home needs repair. My mom needs her porch repaired, new furniture, and appliances.

Gather up the siblings and tell them to empty their pockets. No other way.

I'd start by asking your local churches for help. I think people forget they are supposed to have outreach programs in place. I know our little community church does.
