No, I don't think so because its urs. Same with SS. You really need to talk to Medicaid.

I'm not sure what you mean by "community spouse". But for a "spouse" it's the other way around. More assets are excluded since the spouse needs money to live on. I think the default is around $112,000. You can petition to make it higher. See a attorney for details.
