Yes, for a fee. Go to Care.com or, search online for "caregiving agencies near me" or contact your local Area Agency on Aging for resources. Has your Mom ever been tested for cognitive and memory impairment? Is it possible she has the beginnings of dementia? Please know that she may not acclimate to a stranger in her house, which could feed into her fear. It may be best to ask her PCP for meds for anxiety, depression or agitation first. Or, start the in-home aid during the day and gradually her them stay into the night. Another solution may be a good facility, since her cognitive issues will only get worse over time.
