Frank....you do not give nay info on your grandmother if this is who you are trying to get a lift for but.. At some point baths are not easy or safe. IF a bathtub is what you have to work with a shower bench or seat with a back for support would be safer than trying to lower her into a tub. or Give up the idea of a bath or shower and do bed baths. A bed bath can be just as cleansing done properly. It is safer She will probably be more comfortable.
