Are the contents in a home counted as part of an estate in guardianship of an estate?

Thing in terms of the principal - the person being protected or guarded - for a lack of a better word.
Whatever the principal owns falls under the same protection or guard.
Just because the person has a guardian- it does not mean that they still don’t own their own stuff.
