Does my dad have to apply for North Carolina Medicaid/Medicare first to qualify for a NC hospice house when he lives in South Carolina?

Shouldn't the hospice agency that you are going to use be the best and reliable source to answer this question?

I am going to guess that would depend on which hospice he go to, I think the funding varies.
