I've heard that Humana insurance will put a lien on assets to pay back what they covered. Has anyone else heard of this?

Find Care & Housing
Mom is on Medicaid? Humana is probably the insurance company Medicaid pays for ur care. Medicaid is the one who will try to recoup the money they paid towards the insurance premiums.

If there is a house, there will probably be a lean put on it when the person passes. Be aware of this. They are slow in doing this. I called to get an amt owed.

It’s not just long term care costs PamIngo. Medicaid will attempt to recover money’s spent on community Medicaid as well.
