If you have family, could you ask someone for a loan to tide you over? Perhaps they could prepare meals for you to place in the freezer and eat as needed, or buy canned goods for you.

Maybe there's something you could sell or pawn.

Do you work at all? Do you consistently have more money going out than coming in? If so, then you need to look at your bills and expenditures and see where you could reduce your expenses. If you come up short regularly, then you probably need to look for a part time job that won't affect your social security.

If you need assistance with utilities, I think all the utility companies have plans for the aid of lower income customers.

If you need a less expensive place to live, look into the low income housing available in your area.

If you are a member of a church, ask the office personnel about assistance. Look into food pantries, clothes closets.

That's about all I can come up with right now, especially since you really didn't much information. Good luck.
