I'm just wondering if maybe Medicare or Medicaid might help, or maybe there might be companies or organizations that may help?

Mike is your mother on Medicaid? If so, the incontinence supplies are covered 100%. Talk to Mom's caseworker.

Is Mom eligible for Medicaid? If so, but you are waiting to see if she is going to need a care center, there are many advantages to arranging for it now. Medicaid covers a number of expenses for people who are still living in the community.

If she is not eligible for Medicaid, sometimes people donate these items to thrift shops. (I had a full case on hand when my husband died.) Maybe you can set up a list of places to call once a week to see if they have any on hand. Also call your local Goodwill/Salvation Army offices to see if they have any suggestions.

Personally, I think Medicare should cover this as a medical expense, but that is not the way it works.

Good like in finding some help toward this cost.

Sorry, Medicare does not cover adult diapers. https://www.medicare.gov/coverage/incontinence-and-adult-diapers.html

There are companies on the internet that sell these products in bulk at a discount.
