My aunt and uncle used to practice Tai Chi with a group of other seniors. Very good for body and mind. You can find many how-to videos on YouTube for different levels.

My aunt loved the exercises at age 97. She always loved some sort of exercises. Then there is my mother in the same age range. She always hated exercises and resisted. So I guess it depends on the personality.

As another alternative there is chair yoga.

You mean the relaxing dance type moves? I tried it but trying to remember the moves was a bit of a challenge. Just too dance challenged :P But for those who use to dance, it can be a perfect way to relax and have a low key exercise.
