Am I entitled to a copy of my parents trust?
I am my mothers poa for healthcare. She lives near me in a care home and I am on the front lines of her care. She is in the later stages of dementia and can no longer talk or walk. She is 91. My older brother is her financial poa and he will not allow me to have access to a copy of the whole trust. I did have access to a copy before we moved mom as she wanted all of us to have that access but when we moved her he took the copy that was hers. There is nothing secret about what is in the trust but I would just feel better knowing we all (I have one younger brother) have access to my parent wishes( dad died 15 years ago). My older brother is a loner and the suspicious type. He is not involved in her car and live hours away from me. Mom wanted us to all work together and he will not. What are my rights concerning the trust and access to how he is managing her money? Thank you! Kim
