Grandpa fell on me again Thursday this time I had to go to the hospital for a sprained knee and a mild concussion my back and my knee hurt like h*ll. Anyway, Grandpa's condition is slowly getting worse we have good and bad days though yesterday he was a hot mess he cut up one of my shirts Saturday and yesterday he was extremely confused. Is this part of Alzheimer's?

Angel, why at the age of 16 are you caring for grandpa? Yes falling, and cutting things up is part of dementia. He is not going to get better, only worse.

Aging is when you forget where you put your keys, dementia is when you can't remember how to put the keys in the lock to open the door. Someone extremely confused and cutting up clothing (what reason did he give for that?) has something going on besides normal aging. If this is a sudden change in behavior he could have a UTI or other infection that can be treated. Either way you should discuss these symptoms with his doctor.
