What does VA Aid & Attendance benefits cover?

It covers "Activities of Daily Living" such as feeding, bathing, toileting, dressing. The need has to be certified by the patient's MD. Unfortunately, most MD's have no idea what is being done for the patient at home. It becomes very important for the family to detail the needs on the form, go over it with the doctor and have him sign it. If you hand him a blank form I guarantee his office staff (who know even less) will mess it up.
