Find Care & Housing
Tell Mam that Daycare is not for people who are in bad shape. It's for people who can still enjoy life. Tell her it's for you to be able to have some time to yourself.

I think the ease of getting her to go to the senior center is dependent upon her level of dementia. Sometimes, talking and asking aren't going to work. She may not be compliant and really not even know why. Can you get her ready and just say that is where you going and then all three of you go there for a few visits? Be upbeat and cheerful about it. You might even suggest that you received an invitation. Later, arrange for her to stay while you leave.

You have to look out for your own mental health too. You need breaks. Eventually, the person with dementia can't be in charge of driving the train.
