When people are looking for services, I always tell people you may need to do some legwork for yourself. Google is your best friend in finding out what is available in your area. You'd be amazed what you can find just spending a few hours researching on the internet.

My Moms DC picked her up at 8am and dropped her back home at 3. She was given breakfast and lunch. They bathed her for me and even saw she got PT.

As said, call your County Office of aging to see what is available near you. Go on-line and put in "Adult Daycare in my area". Moms was run by the County and took Medicaid.

County/transit transportation i don't think is for Mom since she suffers from Dementia. Someone would have to accompany her. Our County busses only have pick up on the main highways. The Senior bussing provided by Office of Aging are for appts and shopping. I don't think either one whould want the responsibility of someone suffering from Dementia.

We have County transport. Try your county office of aging/social services, and also call the Sr. Daycare sites. Some around my area have not opened since COVID.

You can sign her up for the department of transportation paratransit services.

You have to contact your DOT and request the application, takes 6-8 weeks to get approved where I live.

Then you schedule 24 hours in advance for discounted rides. Ours also has a contract for discount taxi rides.

This can be the solution if you cannot find a daycare with transport.

Contact your local county council on aging for local resources for daycare and options for other resources available.

You can contact your local Senior Center, they may be aware of Adult Day Programs in the area.
Some Memory Care facilities will also take people as a Day Care client but they may not provide transportation.
Check the local Agency on Aging and they may also be aware of Adult Day Programs.
