I drop my mother's daily medications off before work in the morning. She gets to them before my father wakes up and many times will double dose herself and not remember. I get phone calls in the afternoon from her, she's upset that I have not given her all her (pain and anxiety) medication for the day. She becomes very irrational and verbally abusive with myself and my aging father. Is there a place, (like meals on wheels, but form medication) that will disperse medication throughout the day? I'm out of ideas.

There are a few medication dosing systems, I think the one blannie mentioned can be covered by insurance under certain circumstances. I would ask her doctor about options, they can get the ball rolling to see if anything like this or a home health care of some sort might be get covered. Some of it also can depend on the state your in too I think.

You can purchase medication dispensers that are locked and open at certain times. They're not cheap (about $300 - 500 from what I can see). If you google "timed medication dispensers" you'll find them. You could put pills together for a week that way and not have to drop them off every day.

I don't know of any agency that dispenses daily pills. You'd have to have someone once and you'd come once from what you've said. That would be pretty expensive.
