Found nursing home, but on waiting list with several. When applying for Medicaid, what documents for transfers are required & do the transfers need to be in a trust? Live in MA.

Medicaid will want her birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce papers or death certificates, five years of tax returns and financial records, a copy of the deed to the house and any vehicle titles. If you say you are a caregiver, fine. If you say you are disabled, fine. But you can't be both. So decide which exemption you are going for.
