If a Power of Attorney dies, then a conservator is appointed, is the certified letter sufficient to send to bank or a death certificate?

I have POA of my mother-in-law, but her sons are actually ON her bank account with her. If I should die, then one of them would/could automatically take over if they wanted to. Put someone on her bank account with her, besides the POA.
