After years of using caretakers that friends referred and companies that were hired by the VA it became clear after severe back pain my dad was going thru that we needed a different plan. My situation was changing fast and we knew that nursing home help was getting closer in being our next step. I contacted Your Choice Senior Care in Fairhope as an option. I needed a dependable well trained staff to take care of the daily needs of my father. After meeting with Joe and going over our needs, we decided to give it a chance and are we ever thankful we did. After just a few days we knew that things were being handled the way we needed them, caretakers being able to work the hours, and giving the extra care that enabled dad to stay at home. Your Choice Senior Care of Birmingham provided excellent care for my mom provided through their caregivers Heather and Michelle during the last 5 months. I know mom grew to really love them both and really enjoyed the times that you came by to visit. It is not an easy task matching people, but I do feel that these two caregivers were the right ones, especially Michelle. She did everything in her power to do things for mom and went over and beyond on many occasions. She took the time to read letters to mom and read from one of her favorite books every night. She was always willing to spend the night if we needed and I never worried when she was there with mom. I appreciate them for the wonderful service that she received and we would recommend their company to anyone.
