Before Winchester Gardens was sold to Spring Point it was the creme de la creme in senior living. VERY expensive residences to purchase, absolutely beautiful grounds, excellent staff, overall delightful dining with wonderful food selection and quality, movies, live entertainment and so much more. After being sold to Spring Point all services and amenities went south. They can no longer take leftovers from dinner home. Food quality failure, less entertainment, etc. No longer worth the extraordinarily high cost of residency. Failure during Hurricane Sandy inexcusable. Back-up generators should be mandatory in such facility. There were no lights or heat in units, no lights in hallways, no elevators, and cold food brought to resident’s unit, but not enough food and only one meal. Winchester Gardens looked impressive from the exterior, but beware beneath the shell. Too expensive for services provided!!
