Located on Providence Road in south Charlotte, less than a mile south of the I-485, Singh is planning to build and operate a Waltonwood senior living community that would provide a continuum of care for seniors. Waltonwood Providence will offer independent living apartments, assisted living units that provide additional support for daily activities and memory care units for specialized assistance with dementia-related ailments. Each resident will find a variety of dynamic activities and senior care services designed to accommodate their individual needs. These healthcare services will be certified and regulated through an Adult Care License from the NC Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Health Service Regulation.
The design of Waltonwood Providence reflects a “Georgian” or “Jeffersonian” style elevation, that is predominantly brick with a stone base and accents. The building is designed in a courtyard configuration, which allows continuous hallway circulation and provides for beautiful internal landscaped courtyards for use and enjoyment by the residents. Future residents will also be able to enjoy additional amenities such as a hair salon, convenience store and café, library, hobbies & crafts room, exercise area, movie theatre, and assorted lounge areas throughout the building. A complete, state of the art physical therapy and exercise area is also planned, which will include a full range of “HUR” rehabilitation exercise.
