A caregiver with USA Senior Assistants took care of my dad for 2 years. He was 89 and he made it to 91 with her love and care and ability to do what was needed. The first year she spent her time getting his medications and doctors under control. She did as I asked her to do, not what she wanted like so many other had done before her. They never helped me with him like Wendy did. I knew my dad better than anyone. He was bed ridden but soon after he was doing better everyday as she got him off sleeping and pain pills. She got him back to his longtime doctor who he has stopped seeing because it was too far for the other to take him. Within eight months he went on a cruise to Mexico and when he returned he began to plan his next cruise which would also be his last. Wendy was also at my dad's celebration of life.

Mira did an excellent job caring for my mother. She knew how to carry on after my mother's care with skilled nursing. I am grateful for her time of day note taking that let me know that she had everything done as prescribed. I was surprised as she also could cook things and made the effort to cook. Mira had a sense when things were wrong so she could let me know. This sense pertained to my mother's blood pressure medication which the doctor discontinued after Mira noticed her listlessness. We began taking BPs and found she only needed the patch and only occasionally needed a BP pill orally.

I felt it necessary to write this letter regarding the care and compassion that the personnel at USA Senior Assistants gave to my parent during a trying time in her life. I was not sure what to expect. This was the first time using a nursing service and I am very glad I found this one. My 84 year old mother has lived independently until she took a fall and fractured her neck. She was in a brace at all times and very uncomfortable. Not at all herself and became agitated easily. I myself struggled to give my parent the constant care she needed. Wendy and her staff made her comfortable and secure in their care. They show knowledge and patience with all of the tasks given. They are reliable and always on time to start the job. They even took the time to talk and straighten up. My mother was very comfortable in their care. I would recommend this service to anyone with the need. USA Senior Assistants is very competent.

Amanda did a great job with mom tonight. Mom made a mess and Amanda was so patient in helping mom and making her feel comfortable. She made no big deal of cleaning up her numerous accidents. I really hope she will stay with us. I was really impressed and I think mom is slowly gaining confidence in her. She is so kind and we are all so glad she is here.
