Touching Hearts at Home, McHenry County is locally owned and operated, combining the professional experience of owner, Angel Brewster, with the resources of a national home care company that has been providing non-medical companionship, caregiving, and homemaking services to seniors, adults with disabilities, and families battling illness since 1996.

Angel grew up in Dallas/Fort Worth, graduated from Arlington High School, and later, Tarrant County College. She holds an Associate of Arts Business Administration and Management Degree and spent her early career as the Assistant Director of a reputable childcare facility in Texas. Angel also founded a non-profit organization for children with terminal illnesses in honor of her late daughter, Trinity.

Angel is a high-performing leader and operations manager with over 20 years of experience delivering successful improvements for business operations, profitability, and team development.

Before choosing to dedicate her career to enhancing the lives of older adults, Angel's focus was on volunteering in her children's school, serving on the PTO Board, and working as a community volunteer.

Angel's goal is to provide vital caregiving and companionship that will empower seniors and those living with disabilities to age in place while upholding their dignity and independence in the comfort and safety of their own home. This stems from her personal experience with family members trying to navigate through various cancer diagnoses, natural aging and the additional complexities that come with dementia and Parkinson’s Disease. Angel has completed extensive training in Alzheimer’s and Dementia care and is a Certified Dementia Care Specialist (CDCS).

Angel currently resides in Johnsburg with her husband, Chris, who also has a great deal of passion for the home care industry. Chris owned and operated an award-winning in-home care company franchise from 2010-2015. Angel and Chris have three beautiful children, Grayson (9), Emmersyn (3), and Jaxon (2). Some of their hobbies include camping, fishing, traveling, and spending time with family. They are privileged to serve families in McHenry County and Lake County.
