Tonganoxie Nursing Center

Tonganoxi Nursing Center has the kindest staff we have ever met. The residents are happy and the place doesn't smell. The food is good and is cooked by a real chef. They have a new activities leader and I have seen the residents do more than bingo with Wii games, music programs, and a variety of fun foods and art projects. The building is owned by a newer group and have serious managers on site. They are getting new parking, new vans, a new roof, and new beds, tv's , and furniture in the rooms. They have a big therapy group that works there and doesn't just show up a few hours a day. People can go in all day for outpatient therapy as well. Nicest, calmest place we visited when we were looking.
